Amy Lonely this Christmasby *kintobor

First Christmas picture.

Amy in the snow in a dickenzenian type setting, just really been feeling a victorian age christmas picture, and so naturally I drew Amy... :/

Amy and the back ground, both drawn on paper and then scanned in..
I have used some texture's they were all taken by me on my i phone, and i've tried to keep texture use to a minimum.

Worked hard on this picture and then almost ruined it when I found a new tool on photoshop 6 that let you add an oil painting filter... maybe went a bit mad trying to work out make the picture look more old timey.... and ruined it... some part are still a little too filtered.

This is a really good image, the coloring is great and the shading perfect.

This is your best so far, I think. I like how she looks so grumpy in the snow - I can sooo relate to that! haha!

in the background some of the colours have run and stuff, it's not very noticeable unless you download the original full size, but it's bugging me because I can see it, if that makes sense?
Glad you like it really trying to take it up a level with every new pic, though noticed the comment on stc about the clothes, that is all very true.

Great work, Matt! You've got a really great piece, and your work on perspectives is fantastic! This is certainly different to the Christmas poster of Amy I've done!

There a very good reason it's different

originally I wanted it to be like a compare and contrast STC poster, with a more modern Sonic and Amy. So this was origanal kind of a rip off of yours

but when I realised I had resolution wrong to use it for a wallpaper, also Sonic and Amy being annoyed at each other didn't seem very christmasy (maybe the pouges?)
And Thank pete, really trying to work on perspectives, though I do feel like I've cheated as it was a pretty simple one point perspective, and even then it's a bit off.
